Live Painting FAQs

  • Yes, travel within the city of Florence, Italy is included. For weddings outside the area, travel fees are calculated based on location and duration.

  • I require a rectangular table, two chairs (for my assistant and I), and access to light (natural or artificial). It would also be nice to include a small part of your floral arrangement on my table! If your venue doesn’t provide these, please coordinate with your planner.

  • This is a bespoke, luxury service that combines live entertainment with custom artwork your guests will treasure. Investment varies based on guest count, location, and the collection you choose. Custom quotes are available upon request, and I’m happy to recommend the best fit for your celebration.

  • It depends on your guest count and the collection you choose. For larger weddings, the Archivio Collection includes full-day live painting and dedicated studio time afterward to ensure every guest receives a portrait. That said, not everyone wants to be painted, and that’s absolutely fine. Some guests prefer to simply watch or enjoy the experience without participating.

  • Yes! For more intimate weddings, I’m happy to include guests who couldn’t be there, whether they’re far away or no longer with us. I just need a clear photo to include them in your keepsake portrait.

  • A 9 × 12 portrait of the couple is included with the Archivio Collection. For other collections, it can be added by request as a meaningful extra.

  • Yes. Each guest portrait can include a personal touch like your initials, the city or venue name, or your wedding date. I’ll work with you to choose something that feels right for your day.

  • The portraits can be displayed on a table or hung with twine and clips for guests to view. I can also work with your wedding planner to make sure the display is perfect for your event.

  • While it’s best to book 3-6 months in advance, I do accept last-minute bookings if there’s availability. Please reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

  • I use watercolor. My style is whimsical and elegant, not highly realistic. It’s meant to capture the personality and charm of your guests, focusing on the essence rather than precise likenesses.

  • For remote weddings, travel and accommodation arrangements are required, and these costs are covered by the couple. Please get in touch for details about additional fees.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before the event. The full payment is due for last minute events booked less than 30 days from the date. Payment can be made via bank transfer.

  • Additional portraits after the contract is signed are available for an extra fee.

  • Yes. I create bespoke watercolor venue portraits that can be used for save-the-dates, invitations, and wedding signage. These are painted from reference photos and tailored to match the mood and colors of your celebration.
